Welcome to the North East Yamaha RD Club web site.
Who we are and what we do.
We are the North East based club dedicated to the Yamaha range of RD bikes produced in the 70's 80's and into the 90's. This website aims to keep members informed, and attract a broader audience. We'll use this site to get the word out on our organization. As the site grows we will also include pictures of our bikes and members.
Our Mission (CORNY OR WHAT)
We are group who are interested in the RD bikes. From the RD 50 up to the grand RD500.
You do not need to own one to be in our group. You merely have to be interested. Getting involved is easy.

You could check out the Meeting Dates
We aim to have areas on the site for information, restoration tips, parts suppliers, articles for sale and wanted, items of general interest.
The site was developed by myself (Gary) only very recently so has a lot of growing to do. We had asked a pro for help but things didnt work out so its down to me.
I believe that there are some bikes out there that nearly ever body knows; especially the 40+ age group. FSIE, X7 Kawasaki's triples, Z1, Honda's CB75/900, GS1000 and our favourite's the Yamaha RD's. I guess we have all had some or all of them.
Judging by the interest at classic bike event we join the RD is amongst the most popular. If i had a £1 for every time somebody said "I had one of them" then I'd have at least £30 saved.
We need material, links and anything of interest to get the site going, so please send your stories, pics etc using my email address.
